Truly Loved

I can still see your beautiful smile,
It shines in the light,
I can’t hide my tears this time.
I can still hear your laugh,
It raises my heart rate.
Every day is an exciting change,
But I would have never wished this to go away.
I dream about us growing old,
But now I’ll fight it all alone.
I would put my hand out,
But the emptiness filled it.
I can’t take a simple step,
I can’t take a simple breath,
Without you on my mind.
You are the smell before it rains,
You are the life in my veins,
You are the beauty that unfolds.
I can see you sleeping on my chest,
I can see you pulling on my everything.
When everything is said and done,
You have been the only one I truly loved.

You only want your money, and all of the greed that follows behind. You would take out all the color, because in the end you just don't care. Everyday is a brand new way you can steal, there is no confront, because all you have is your fear, because you don't care. Now you have your green, but your covered in so much red.
